I was looking through stamps and this was another didn't have. I used to thank people as well when I first joined, but I realized how it can get kind of annoying and repetitive for the other artists having the same message pile up, and also not always being able to respond to all of them.

It's partly because sometimes (not always) it's not sincere, and can be just a self advertisement type of thing. I think it's better to find something of theirs to fav or a picture of theirs to comment on instead of "THX FOR THE FAV ON [link] BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE REST OF MY GALLERY [link]!!!"

My page has gotten pretty much flooded by this type of thing so... Yeah. x:

Again, some people like the messages, some don't, and that's perfectly okay either way. This is just for people who'd rather not get them on their page, it is not meant to attack or insult anyone.
